Set up your Apex device

Unbox, connect, and activate Apex hardware for in-person payments.

Charge your device fully before first use. Connect to Wi‑Fi from the device settings menu or use the included Ethernet adapter on Station and Kiosk models.

Sign in and activate

Open the Apex app on the device, sign in with your merchant email, and enter the activation code from the dashboard under Devices → Activate hardware.

Run a test transaction

Process a small card sale and void it from the transaction history to confirm card readers, receipts, and tipping (if enabled) all work as expected.
